I hate procrastinating, because then I have a ton to post about! We'll start with the rest of July...we went swimming, hiking, to the zoo, and had a good 24th at Carrel and Ryan's, and Landon had his 9 month pictures taken!
The beginning of August, Landon and I went to Pacific Grove with my mom and Jake.
We went to the Muddy with my family the second week in August.
Also this summer, Landon learned how to pull himself up, we cut his hair for the first time (which was a disaster), and we got him a toothbrush! He now has 6 teeth!
Landon LOVES to plya with Daddy when he gets home from work! He also loves his doggie. I tell him to hug and kiss his doggie and he gently puts its head to his, then bites its nose and shakes while he bites it! It's pretty funny!!!
The end of August we had a birthday party for my Grandpa Marsh. My mom and her sisters got someone to come play the bagpipes, which is my Grandpa's favorite.
We went to Deer Creek with our family and had a great time! Landon had fun splashing in the water, and playing with cousin Axel.
We went camping Labor Day weekend with some of our friends! Landon's first time in a tent and he did great! We had a great time and Landon got filthy!
We had a good time the end of September/beginning of October celebrating birthdays! John always makes my birthday special!
Then, a special few pictures in memory of my grandma Joyce. She lost her battle with Alheimer's Disease and her funeral was on September 25. She lived at Alta Ridge Alzheimer's Community the last few months of her life. We would visit her 1-2 times a week. I would always take Landon with me. She loved him and always asked to hold him. She had an occassional moment of clarity where she would recall my name, or what was going on around her. I will miss her dearly, but know she is happy and at peace now. I love you Grandma.
