Long, overdue updates!

                                                                      MAY!
We planted our garden...about 3 times because it got so cold.  Landon sat outside and watched.  He LOVES being outside.

Also in May was Mother's Day!  I got some fun things from John and Landon, and a new jogging stroller from Grammie and Grandpa.

Our 3 year Anniversary was in May.  We took Landon to the Living Planet Aquarium, then went to dinner at the Asian Star that night.  It was really fun, and Landon like the aqaurium.

Also in May, Landon turned 7 months old!  He is growing so fast, and getting so fun to play with!

Landon loves his baby food still, and has now grown to like crackers, and drinking out of "big people" cups.  He is not too fond of a sippy cup, but when he sees you drinking, he wants some of that!

We got together with the Reynolds on Memorial Day, for breakfast.  It was also Landon's first time on a swing.  He loved it...and fell asleep.

We went to my brother's monster concert, where there are about 8 piano's and they all play together.  We also went to his last soccer game!

JUNE!

Father's day was great this year.  John had a fun day, then we went to the Reynold's for dinner.  I had to work that night, but it was still a good day!

My two best guys!

Landon turned 8 months old!  He scoots all over the place...he doesn't crawl on his hands on knees.  He scoots with his arms and his toes...I guess it's a little army crawl.  Man is he speedy!  His little arms and legs are always red and he loves his new found freedom!

We took Landon to the Riverton rodeo with Grammie and Uncle Jake!  He liked the horses...until it got windy and he got tired.  Jake did the event where you chase the cows to get the money taped to them.  He got a dollar...and a corner of another dollar.

Just chillin' with dad while mom gets ready for church.

He has figured out that if he pulls the crib bumper down, he can see his toys, and books on the floor...and mommy sneaking in to see him.  He makes us laugh!

Near the middle of June, Landon cut his first little tooth.  It's on the bottom, and boy it took a lote of cranky work to come in!  Mommy is probably the happiest that it finally came through!  The second one is right around the corner.  We can see the little white tip, but it hasn't made it through the gums yet!

JULY!

On the 3rd of July, we went to our ward breakfast.  We almost froze!!!  It really was cold.  Then we worked in the yard the rest of the day, then went to see fireworks in Riverton with Grammie and Jake.  The sprinklers came on while we were there!  We didn't get wet, but the people behind us did.

On the 4th, we went to dinner at the Olson's.  It was a yummy BBQ, and we did fireworks after!  On the 5th, we went to Layton and John and Landon ran a 5K with a bunch of our family.  Then, we went to breakfast at Golden Corral and went back to watch the parade.  After the parade we went swimming at Joe and Valisa's and had another yummy BBQ.  I love the 4th of July!  Landon LOVED swimming.  He lasted about 30-40 minutes before he got cold and tired, but he had a blast.  I think John was more excited than a little kid on Christmas to get Landon in the water!

Our garden is starting to really look like a garden now!  We just picked some peas and our first red tomatoes and strawberries!  We are excited to see how everything else turns out!

  1. What a fun few months. I love the picture of him peeking over the bumper. I am excited to see you in August. Jackson loved pointing out 'Dude' and 'baby Landon' in every picture.

We're leaving for Utah this weekend and will be there for four weeks. Do you think we could get together sometime?
